Very true. An Irish lady took me to a country restaurant one evening, she wanted to park near to the door. Through the carpark, up a ramp, right in front of the door in a childrens play area. It was dark when we left and she had drunk a bottle of red so she started the car and turned left down the front steps and away. I´ve never been back.

I know the feeling, my ex wife could drive her car and pull mach 0.89 when cornering, whilst putting on her lippy, looking in the drop down mirror, and chatting to her friend on her mobile and this was in Tesco's car park. I was cowering in the foot well whimpering like a 3 year old absolutely terrified and she had the nerve to call me a wuss.
