What will happen if I use an ac/dc adaptor with a different milliampere?

The ac/dc adaptor is just 200 but the table clock is 1000.

What will happen is usually unpredictable, mainly because

there is often a wide allowable range of difference and variation.

However, in this case, making a definitive statement is much easier:

A 1-amp (1000 mA) load is likely to rapidly burn up a 200 mA supply.
