Shea butter. to get all fancy, mix it with a bit of jojoba or coconut oil and maybe some glycerin. But if you just get a tub of shea, grab a wad and melt it with your hands, it will go on like hot butter and won't be greasy. Plus it's actually helping the head. Even lotions that say they are moisturizing are 90% fillers and they cost more. You can pick up pure shea at a health food store, Amazon, or sold by street dealers in North Philly. I use it on my head, face, body and on my hair. Of course you could just slather it with any lotion and it would seem like it feels good for a few minutes, until the alcohol and stearic acid dry the scalp out and leave you itching an hour later. Not that I'm opinionated and bitter or anything.

It would be an awesome christmas present to him:

    1C shea

    1Tbsp lanolin

1Tbsp jojoba or other thin oil (olive would work)

    1tsp. glycerin

heat it in something that pours well until it's all liquid. Pour it into a jar that's heat resistant and put it in the fridge to cool overnight. BAM.
