Because to be a good QB you have to learn to throw from the pocket. Harbaugh knows this which why he has kept him in the pocket. My only complaint to the coaching staff is that they aren't do much things to get guys open like they did in the past. No motion, shifts, stack, bunch, etc. Maybe they feel he can't handle that because when you move your guys the defense moves there's which might confuse Kaepernick.

Lol. Jim Harbaugh is the reason the 49ers are any good. I don't like him at all, but Kaepernick would be nothing without Harbaugh.
