Who agrees with the Senator who made this statement about filibusters,?
"what [the American people] don’t expect, is for one party, be it Republican or Democrat, to change the rules in the middle of the game so that they can make all the decisions while the other party is told to sit down and keep quiet…everyone in this chamber knows that if the majority chooses to end the filibuster—if they choose to change the rules and put an end to democratic debate—then the fighting and the bitterness and the gridlock will only get worse."

Didn't Senator Obama say that? Oh, how views change for some who gain power. It will be a bitter pill for Democrats. They are digging a deep hole for themselves and dragging all Americans into it.

Nope. The filibuster change only affects appointments and doesn't include Supreme Court nominations
or Legislation. Historically, except in rare instances, the Senate has respected the Executive office and allowed it to make the appointments deemed necessary. It has been Senate Republicans who have changed the rules by seeking to block the functions of the Government.

The GOP has been abusing the rule for the past five years.
You have Senators like Cruz and Graham, who use it to try and get what they want.
It seems it doesn't matter how well qualified an appointee may be, Sen. Graham said he will block all appointees until he gets the "answers" he wants regarding Benghazi.

Depends on when he said it. When what you have instead is the minority party shutting down all action, something has to be done, or bitterness and gridlock will only get worse.
