Should I eat before my morning run?
So I usually eat dinner around 7pm, wake up the next day at 6am, leave to go for a run at around 6:20ish, run 2.5km and come home, have a shower and get ready for school. I eat yoghurt & fruit or omlettes for breakfast around 7:40am so that i'm full enough to last me to recess which isnt until 11am, so because of this i dont want to have my breakfast before my run but worried i might be burning muscle instead of fat. Also read that fasted cardio isn't good in the long run.. Help?!

You do not need anything to eat before running, drink a glass of water and get going.
You are not possibly burning muscle, you have energy stored, and if that is gone you have fat to burn. You are not running long enough to burn muscle.
If you read that cardio is not good in the long run the author is an idiot..

You might want to eat something a bit later on a night, say around 9 or 10 pm. Just to get some extra fuel in you, but, with all due respect you are only doing a mile so you shouldn't need too much extra food.

2.5 km is not far enough to burn muscle. Besides you would have to wake up 3 hours before your run ( at 3 a.m) for your food to have any effect on you. You could eat a piece of fruit for the mental side of it if you wanted to and it should have no ill effect on you during the run.
