Well, first, you're not too young. I began my training at 14. Second, you have to be careful with the simulator stuff. I simmed for 6 years before I started real training. I did nothing but stare at the instrument panel. So much so, that my instructor covered up instruments. In FSX, you don't really look outside, because, what's the point. Don't do that in real life. Also, if you're flying default aircraft in FSX, it's not even close to realistic.

Knock off the simulator crap, it will teach bad habits. Join the EAA chapter near you, Air Scouts if there's one near by. I don't recommend the CAP, but that is an option and highly dependent on the local unit.

Read, build models, hang around the airport (hard to do sometimes) -- there's bound to be a little one nearby and if ask politely you'll be surprised what you can get.

You could buy a kite or a model airplane kit and pretend you are flying up in the sky! In some places, you are old enough, for example, in Imperial Japan, but what the heck do I know? Jeffrey is always the one to ask about these things! Dang it doodle dee! Oh Lord have mercy!
