How much do you spend on your partner at Christmas?
My boyfriend and I will have been together almost 2 years this Christmas. Last year I was a little disappointed in what he got me as I put lots of time, effort and money in to getting him a few perfect gifts. This year, I have again bought him a great gift and he is going all out to match what I am getting him... I was wondering how much guys usually tend to spend on girls?
While people are thinking I am probably greedy, he has loads of money and I spent loads on him and I wasn't earning any money at the time. I was wondering how people get past this problem so early on as it tends to be a bit of a relationship lesson?

Oh dear its such a shame when people judge each other on the presents they get for Christmas. No point in even going down the real meaning of Christmas is there........
My husband I don't buy each other gifts, its meaningless. We concentrate on the kids and the family and the food.
People get hyped up about Christmas and how much its going to cost them, some even get in debt that they have to pay back for the rest of the new year, how silly.
You both should make a pact as to how much you should spend otherwise you will be disappointed every year since some men don't have much idea on gifts.

Give what you can afford, and no more - it is not sensible to try and keep up with the Jones' - it's the gift that is important, not it's value.
