Spiritually Speaking: Should we outlaw "Dance Dance Revolution?"?
Before anyone says that this is posted in the wrong section (I'm looking at you Fireball), I am aware.
I don't go into the Politics section, because it is just too messed up in there.
Additionally, I think those in this section will appreciate it more.
Seeing that a study of the personal items of Adam Lanza (the Sandyhook shooter) showed he was influenced by DDR and pictures of hamsters and lego men, should we outlaw those things for the sake of preventing future violence?
I seriously don't understand how someone that isn't actually into pedophilia (as it appears he didn't have any) would actually advocate for the rights of pedophiles.
As for the other two answers... I'm sorry that you missed the satire that this is meant to be.

I saw the same/similar article last night.
No, let's not ban DDR though it sounds like a silly game. But it's a good thing pedophilia is outlawed... something he had pedo rights information on his computer.

DDR was introduced in 1998 in Japan and in all this time there was one killing (spree) influenced by it (according to you, this is the first I have heard of the DDR influence.)
I would say its pretty safe. My guess is, with or without DDR, Lanza would have done what he did.
They also attributed DOOM as the cause for the Columbine shooting and the rock song "Helter Skelter" for the Manson family killings. Neither of those have been banned, and neither of those have spawned more killing sprees. Why should we think DDR will spawn more killing sprees?

That would be totally stupid. Let's just go ahead and outlaw everything he was in possession of like peanut butter, toothpaste, frozen waffles, etc...
