Don't wash it I dye my tip a lot and when I first started doing it I did wash my hair before I bleach it but if you want to wash it make sure it's dry don't bleach it while it's wet it won't work that good because the bleach heats up and drains the color from your hair but anyway if you to wash it make sure it's really dry but you shouldn't wash your hair from what I learned

It's your tips. If it was your scalp then don't wash but since it's the tips it doesn't really matter.
