The following list is not in chronological order, but these are the progressive rock songs that I listen to most often. Not all bands are traditional progressive rock bands, but some bands compose progressive songs once in a while. For example, Stratovarius is known for power metal, but they have some songs that can be classified as progressive metal/rock. Journey is a band that is known for Adult-Oriented Rock/Arena Rock, but their debut album was pure progressive rock while their second album was straight hardrock with a few progressive songs. Therefore, please don't get confused that I post a song by them. The same goes with Scorpions. Their debut was progressive/psychedelic rock with German Krautrock tendencies. Progressive rock has various styles such as symphonic rock, psychedelic rock, krautrock, and other. I like the progressive rock/metal to be long tracks.
1. Rush - Cygnus X-1 Book I + II
