Charging devices in the uk?

I'm Canadian and will be travelling to Wales in the upcoming semester to go to school. I'm wondering what I need to consider/buy when it comes to charging my Macbook Pro and Samsung tablet while I'm there?

Check whether the charger will operate on 240V. If it does, you only need an adaptor for the plug, which is a totally different shape. If not, you'll need a transformer that converts the voltage as well.

Check the labels on your chargers. If they say 110-240 volts AC, you will only need plug adapters. Most laptops are like that.
