Who "benefits" from Thanksgiving? YOU or TURKEYS?

Both! :) Christmas is not something to benefit from, it`s a day of celebration, ( of course we know that Jesus was not born on December 25) We celebrate the Day Jesus came to be born, for us. And when we celebrate it, it makes Jesus Happy, and makes us Happy, so it benefits both.

Definitely not him. Jesus is not even here. This benefits the stores. It doesn't even benefit the people because they go into debt from the stores. So.... the only people that benefit is the stores.

    Shopkeepers.

Which is ironic considering in the Jesus story he kicked the merchants out of the temple, yet now they own the biggest Christian holiday.

    Wow. Yvonne's answer is correct.

Also, Jesus never did say for anyone to celebrate his birthday!

Yes him being born was a joyous event and miracle, but he had

To still die faithful to Jehovah God, in order to save mankind

    And accomplish his work.

Rather, he commanded his death to be celebrated. Luke 22:19;20:

It's his faithful DEATH that saved mankind. Jehovah accepted Jesus'

Perfect sinless sacrifice and 'bought back' the perfection that Adam

    Lost!

We who are God's are grateful that Jesus chose to be born in the flesh to redeem us from the eternal penalty of our sins.

In theory, all that we do should glorify God. In theory, Christmas should glorify God's solution to bring us back to him in the birth of that solution. In practice though, it glorifies materialism, greed, and the human condition because it too has been commercialized for the purpose of profits.

Not Christ. This event was created to remember his birth but to him that was not asked he only commanded us to comemorate his death as stated in Luke 22:19

That depends on you, doesn't it?

You can choose to glorify greed, as so many people seem to do.

Or you can choose to glorify God.
