The Holy Spirit is both a Divine Person and is God. It's in error to believe that the Holy Spirit is a "force" or "power" of God because insinuating that also means that God is a "force" or "power" not actually a Divine Being. The True nature of the Holy Spririt is the true Divine Nature of God in which the three Divine Persons the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit are one God (one Divine Nature).

    John 14:16-17

And I will pray the Father, and he will give you another Counselor, to be with you for ever, even the Spirit of truth, who the world cannot receive, because it neither sees him nor knows him; you know him, for he dwells with you, and will be in you.

    John 15:26-27

But when the Counselor comes, whom I shall send to you from the Father, even the Spirit of truth, who proceeds from the Father, he will bear witness to me; and you also are witnesses, because you have been with me from the beginning.

    John 16:7-15

Nevertheless I tell you the truth: it is to your advantage that I go away, for if I do not go away, the Counselor will not come to you; but if I go, I will send him to you. And when he comes, he will convince the world of sin and of righteousness and of judgment; of sin, because they do not believe in me; of righteousness, because I go to the Father, and you will see me no more; of judgment, because the ruler of this world is judged. I have yet many things to say to you, but you cannot bear them now. When the Spirit of truth comes, he will guide you into all the truth; for he will not speak on his own authority, but whatever he hears he will speak, and he will declare to you the things that are to come. He will glorify me, for he will take what is mine and declare it to you. All that the Father has is mine; therefore I said that he will take what is mine and declare it to you.

    Hebrews 3:7-10

Therefore, as the Holy Spirit says, "Today, when you hear his voice, do not harden your hearts as in the rebellion, on the day of testing in the wilderness, where your fathers put me to the test and saw my works for forty years. Therefore I was provoked with that generation, and said, ‘They always go astray in their hearts; they have not known my ways.’"

    Hebrews 10:15-17

And the Holy Spirit also bears witness to us; for after saying, "This is the covenant that I will make with them after those days, says the Lord: I will put my laws on their hearts, and write them on their minds," then he adds, "I will remember their sins and their misdeeds no more."

    a) They wrongly think that he is part of God and therefore equal to Christ.

    b) The Holy Ghost is a ministering spirit. He could be one individual spirit who became divine, like Jehovah did, prior to creation (both of them sons of God). Or several ministering spirits could fill that office, since he is never, ever referred to by name in the scriptures. He is inferior to Christ, and he is not part of God. He is a servant of both Christ and the Father.

Notice at Jesus' baptism, Jesus was climbing up out of the river, God was giving witness of him from Heaven, and the Holy Ghost was in between, giving John the Baptist a sure sign of Jesus' divine sonship. Three different people in three different places doing three different things.

We do not know if the Holy Ghost will remain a spirit forever or not, or if some other will take his place so that he, too, can partake of the human experience and divinization.

The Holy Spirit is the third memner of the Godhead - Elohiym

The name "God" is translated from the Hebrew "Elohiym" which is plural, and as such means:

    God the Holy Father

    God the Holy Son

God the Holy Spirit - thus proving the Godhead (or Trinity)

And the word ‘God’ actually occurs over 3100 times in the Old Testament

רוּח rûach - wind; by resemblance breath, that is, a sensible (or even violent) exhalation; figuratively life, anger, unsubstantiality; by extension a region of the sky; by resemblance spirit, but only of a rational being (including its expression and functions): - air, anger, blast, breath, X cool, courage, mind, X quarter, X side, spirit ([-ual]), tempest, X vain, ([whirl-]) wind (-y).

At Genesis 1:1-2 ..it says, "In the beginning, God created the heavens and the earth. [2] Now the earth proved to be formless and waste and there was darkness upon the surface of the watery deep, and God's active force [Holy Spirit] was moving to and fro over the surface of the waters."

The Holy Spirit is God's active force; energy.

Psalms 33:6 says: " By the word of Jehovah the heavens themselves were made, and by the Spirit of his mouth all their army." Like a powerful breath, God's spirit can be sent forth to exert power even though there is no bodily contact with that which it is acted upon.

God lives in God's kingdom. God's kingdom is in the spirit realm. Every occupant in the spirit realm is a spirit person. God is a spirit person. So are all the citizens of God's kingdom. They are all holy spirits. They are many. Jesus taught us that everyone who does God's will on earth will be reborn as a spirit person in God's kingdom. He/she becomes a holy spirit. The Counselor, whom Jesus talked about as companion to a child of God is a holy spirit. Counseling a child of God is one responsibility of a holy spirits.

As for the trinity concept, it is absurd. It was invented by the Church to keep the people confused. This concept will fall through soon.

Hebrew "Rauch HaKodesh" the set apart breath, the breath of our God that can enter us and set us part from the world, the one that leads us to follow the teachings, laws and ways of our God. Rejecting Him, our God and ALL of His laws = blasphemy of the Rauch HaKodesh, we must keep the laws of our creator.

It does not fit any trinity lie. It's very nature tells you what it is, learn to understand the basics of the Hebrew and Greek of the scripture and understand so much more!

We rightly know that the Holy Spirit is God along with Jesus and the Father. God is triune.
