Will lattimore ever replace gore? If so, when?

I plan on getting him in a keeper league but I don't think he'll take the job fully until like 2016

Gore's 30 years old and will be a free agent after next season so odds are he will not be back in 2015, especially if San Fran has younger (Read: Cheaper) options available to them.

The problem with banking on Lattimore is that he's not a lock to win a starting job because the Niners have young backs in Hunter, Dixon, and James ready to step in for Gore. And there's no way of knowing if Lattimore's knee will hold up when he does return. I'd try to grab Hunter or James before Lattimore.

Actually, it depends on his work ethic during every offseason. If Marcus Lattimore works hard and performs very well in practice every day, he will greatly improve his chances of replacing Frank Gore as the starting running back for the San Francisco 49ers in the future.

If he works hard, performs very well in practice everyday, eats healthy, exercises by doing weight lifting, and either, jogging or going for a long run everyday he will get faster, stronger and into better shape, which will greatly increase his chances of becoming a successful, top notch NFL running back....
