Is Lovie Smith the front-runner to the Bears vacant head coaching job for next year?

If not, who? Do you think I should do it? I am already better than Trestman!

My Resume:

The Bears have lost 0 games with me at head coach. The Bears have lost 6 games with Marc Trestman at head coach ( 3 of which were entirely his fault). I also have not lost any games for the Bears which were entirely my fault.

I have seen all 12 Bears games this year. Marc trestmann has only seen a couple.

I understand that a 47 yard field goal on 2nd down can be shortened because you still have 2 more downs to get yaerds. Marc trestman does not.

I have not ever failed on a 4th down conversion as the Bears head coach. Marc Trestman has failed on all of them.

I know that Chris Conte does not belong on a football field. Marc trestman does not.

I am not under .500 against teams in my own division this year. Me: (0-0). Trestman: (2-3).

Update:

@Blocking Back: Very True! Add that to my resume!

Lovie will be gone. His staff has taken a team that was built for the run first offense and gone pass crazy. they have essentially asked Cutler to do more than he can do and put him in a position where the potential for failure is very high. I blame thier choice of game plan for the decline of Matt Forte from last year. No way should that guy be doing this bad. Maybe the bears can take a shot at Bill Cowher. I see him as a guy who could step in and use the talent on hand and get enormous results. The team is really built a lot like the steelers have been.

If you consider someone who hasn't accomplished anything in the league a viable coaching prospect then Smith, most definitely, has to be considered a candidate.

Still, I think I'd go with a trained chimp over you or Smith because A) he won't cost the team much and B) he'd be more intelligent.

I predicted on here before the season began that, by seasons end, 10-6, would seem a fond memory to Bear fans. after watching this season from the outside, I don't think Lovey, wants to come back.
