  • How fitting is that Chris Conte costs the Bears their season?

The worst safety in the NFL that no one knows about blows his coverage in the closing seconds of the Bears/Packers finale leads to a 50+ yard game winning touchdown by the Packers.

Chris Conte is not new to missing assignments. If you are a Bears fan, you already know. If you are not, you will never even be able to fathom the horrible ability of this former 3rd round pick. I wish I could begin to explain how awful his tackling and coverage is, but it would not sufficiently depict how pitiful he really is.

It appears that his NFL days are over, because there is no GM in the NFL that would let this sorry excuse of a football player even breath on their practice squad.

If you volunteer at a soup kitchen next year and see his unemployed *** crawl through, do not serve him. Turn him in to the Chicago police.

  • Why isn't Marc Trestman on the hot seat?

Many poor decisions throughout this entire season. I have watched every Bears game this year and only 2 losses cannot be blamed on Trestman.

His boneheaded choice a few weeks ago in Minnesota to kick a field goal on 2ND DOWN cost them the game and eventually, the season.

I believe the media overlooks his stupidity because he appears to be a nice, well-intentioned guy. But his lack of football knowledge for someone of such responsibility is inexcusable.

  • Should I become the Bears head coach next year?

I know, seems crazy, but look at the comparison between me and Trestman:

    Losses:

    Me - 0

    Trestmann - 6

Losses that were entirely my fault:

    Me - 0

    Trestman - 3

    Bears games seen this year:

    Me - 12

    Trestman - 2

Understanding that a 47 yard field goal on 2nd down can be shortened because you still have 2 more downs to get yards (And Forte rarely fumbles):

    Me - Yes

    Trestman - No

    4th down conversion fails:

    Me - 0

    Trestman - A lot.

Understanding that Chris Conte is not good enough to play:

    Me - Yes

    Trestman - No

    Record against the lowly Lions:

    Me - 0-0

    Trestmann - 0-2

    Record against own division:

    Me - Not under .500

    Trestmann - Under .500

What do you think? Should I call up Phil Emery and ask for the job?

  • Is Lovie Smith the front-runner to the Bears vacant head coaching job for next year?

If not, who? Do you think I should do it? I am already better than Trestman!

    My Resume:

The Bears have lost 0 games with me at head coach. The Bears have lost 6 games with Marc Trestman at head coach ( 3 of which were entirely his fault). I also have not lost any games for the Bears which were entirely my fault.

I have seen all 12 Bears games this year. Marc trestmann has only seen a couple.

I understand that a 47 yard field goal on 2nd down can be shortened because you still have 2 more downs to get yaerds. Marc trestman does not.

I have not ever failed on a 4th down conversion as the Bears head coach. Marc Trestman has failed on all of them.

I know that Chris Conte does not belong on a football field. Marc trestman does not.

I am not under .500 against teams in my own division this year. Me: (0-0). Trestman: (2-3).

  • BREAKING NEWS: Rhett Ellison payed off Robbie Gould to miss that field goal!!!!?

SO he can save himself from the guilt. I can't believe this! Will the NFL suspend Ellison??! What will come from this??

  • Whose more to blame? Robbie Gould or Marc trestmann?

Gould missed from 47 yards, but trestman made him do it when it was only 2nd down.

    Whose more to blame?

  • When Marc trestman returns to being a stockbroker next year, will his future unemployed defensive coordinator?

...Mel Tucker join him? I hope these two can find jobs next year. It's rough out there.

  • The Bears have no choice but to fire Marc Trestmann now?

This is inexcusable. He settled for a 47 yard field goal on 2nd down, he still had 2 more downs to make it an easier field goal, and Forte rarely fumbles. Gould chokes under the pressure and misses. Vikings win.

This is yet another coaching miscue in a crucial situation that adds to his collection of mistakes, despite only a short tenure in Chicago. I understand that he just started, but this is just about the worst coached football team in the NFL team right now.

    Trestmann has to go.

  • Where was the flag when Martellus Bennet was aggressively pushed down after stepping out of bounds by 10 feet?

Where was the flag when Cutler was roughed by Nick Fairley 30 seconds after the pass? Where was the flag when DeAndre Levy launched himself into Alshon Jeffrey after the whistle?

Hmmm.... You don't think that...... Nooo..... It couldn't be.... could it?

Is that why Debt-roit has no money? Too busy bribing referees?

Now I'm not pointing fingers, so keep your answers to a medium-level of anger, but you know....

    It certainly is suspicious....

  • I guess it's back to Canada for Marc Trestman, eh?

Well it was fun while it lasted, eh? I hope he brings Kromer and Tucker with him, eh? I hope all the 5 Canadian football fans welcome him back!!

  • Who will give the groin-less wonder, Jay Cutler, a contract next year?

There are a lot of QB-less teams that could use a selfish gunslinger who would rather play in a coma then give the team a chance to win.

Where do you think he will go (Hint: Not Chicago)

  • Swept by the 0-16 bankrupt Detroit Lions!?

That's it for the Bears this year. Looking forward to 2014.

Congrats Lions. You didn't deserve the win but you got it anyway, and I, therefore, applaud you. If you guys need help getting out of bankruptcy let me know, I will be happy to throe a few crumpled singles in your direction!

Good luck in the playoffs. When you are eliminated in the first round I will be your shoulder to cry on!

    Congrats again!

  • Why do the Lions get credited with a win even though the Bears forfeited?

It should only count as a loss for the Bears, right? It's not fair for a team to be credited with a victory just because another team let them win.

  • Where does this Bears collapse rank among your all-time Bears collapses?

I say it's 2nd. 1st is the last second meltdown in Atlanta a few years ago. 3rd is the forfeit against the Seahawks last year.

  • Like Chipper Jones and Mariano Rivera, will every active future HOF'er decide to announce retirement...?

...prior to their final season? So they can receive a Christmas-load of gifts and applause from rival fans. Look at how fun these farewell tours are.

And from the fan's perspective we can savor their final appearances, knowing it will be their last.

But you wouldn't be able to change your mind and decide to return next season.

  • Matt Garza to Texas for Mike Olt, CJ Edwards and 2 more players...?

What do you think? Who won? Who lost?

Why do you think the Cubs would go after a 3rd baseman struggling in AAA when they just drafted a franchise 3B a month ago? I don't get it...

Does this make the Rangers as favorites to win the AL west?

  • Is Corey Crawford a top 5 goaltender?

He shared the Jennings trophy with Ray Emery this year and won a Stanley Cup. 1.94 GAA (tied for 2nd). 19-5 record in the regular season. .926 SVPCT (tied for 5th).

If not top 5, where does he rank then? Who else would you say is in the top 5?

Would you say he is better than 2010 Blackhawks cup-winning goaltender Antti Niemi?

  • Will we ever see Grady Sizemore in the majors again?

Remember him? The Mike Trout of 2008. He is currently a Free Agent. He sat out all of 2012 with a back of injury.

If he were to return, which teams would pursue him? Do you think he would make a decent salary?

  • Do you think the Rangers signing Manny Ramirez is just a lame PR move?

Were the Rangers feeling irrelevant and tried to buy a quick headline? Or will he be an important contributor to the Rangers (That is, if he is recalled)

What could the Rangers possibly have seen in this clubhouse cancer?

Reminds me of the Marlins Adam Greenberg one-game contract of last year. Just trying to grab attention.
