Is Corey Crawford a top 5 goaltender?

51 saves in triple overtime? Alert the media. Lundqvist, Quick, and Rinne regularly do that in 3 periods, not 6.

Lundqvist, Quick, Rask, Rinne, Anderson, Howard, Lehtonen, Bobrovsky, Niemi. That's not just 5, that's 9 for good measure. If you wanna seriously argue he's better than any of those I've got a bridge to sell you.

TOR, you're being ridiculous now. Corey Crawford has played in 37 games in his entire career. Howard, Lehtonen, and Anderson have posted similar numbers over hundreds of games, on teams that aren't half as good as the Hawks were this year. Bobrovsky just won a Vezina, and he posted better numbers than Crawford playing behind one of the worst statistical teams in the league. There's absolutely no evidence that supports some kid who got hot for half a season behind a ridiculous team being better than goalies who have done the same for years or have done the same behind garbage rosters. If anyone seriously thinks Corey Crawford is an elite goaltender they're on heavy drugs or they've been watching hockey for 4 months.

I don't see why not he played amazing his best was that 51 save performance in triple overtime, he has always been an underrated goalie but he played the best goaltending of his career and is rightfully a Stanley Cup Champion, as of right now of course he is in the top 10, he bailed out the Blackhawks on many occasions throughout their playoff run especially in the Red Wings series down 1-3 and many haters like to forget that. Great goalie and great attitude.

Nope. He's the Chris Osgood of the times. Great team in front of him but just a decent goaltender.
