This is what was meant to happen. He was meant to jump out rolling six times like a ninja bursting sub machine gun fire with two uzis from the hip for a scene in the new fast and furious. Then the porsche was meant to explode. He couldnt undue his harness in time and well there you go. Sucks to be him.

The key to accidents is that direct-impact is most deadly, so leaving the vehicle before certain-impact(because without impact you're always safest IN the car), can be the best of 2 bad choices, but it's still highly dangerous, and nearly as deadly.

That car was doing well over 100 MPH at the time of impact, had he jumped he still would have likely died from his injuries.
