So I was dating my bestfriend?
Me and this guy had been best friends for a long time. Well we got into a relationship and it was great for four months. He would always tell me he loved me and he was so glad to be with me. Two weeks ago he became more distant with me. Two days later he dumped me saying his life was messed up right now and he needed to get it back on track. Now he wont talk to me at all. I don't care if we don't date anymore I just want my best friend back. What do I do?

Surely, as a "best friend" you can understand that those we care most about, sometimes need down/alone time? Give him his space. Unfortunately, it sounds like in his eyes you were stangling him. Whether or not you were is not important. What is important is how he perceived it. Simply leave him alone. Talk to him when he begins the conversations only, until you get back on solid ground.
