Anyone within sight of a wind turbine should be given free power. I wonder how their opinion would change then. It might also push up the prices of their desolate homes. In the UK I think we should go all out for sea and wind power.
We don’t have a government for the people in this country, we have people for the corporations.

Solar, Wind, Wave, Hydro electric. We are so far behind in the U.K. Hydro Electric Powers was introduced in parts of Wales after the second world war and never expanded. Every new house built in Germany has solar panels attached and Germany is also phasing out nuclear power, which is the most expensive and dangerous form of power. The cost of disposing of the nuclear waste from one just
station at Sellafield is £60 billion.

Nuclear is the only realistic option...........anyone thinking solar or wind will provide enough energy is living in cloud cuckoo land
And to get a foreign country to stump up the cash to build them is genius!

Ask the dysfunctional Tories as they have just signed up for China to build the next generation of nuclear power stations in this Country.
You couldn`t make it up.

Solar, wind, and hydroelectric is the way to go. Nature has given us all we need for clean energy. If we'd only stop thinking we're so clever and harness the obvious and non-polluting energy sources, instead of using filthy sources for higher profits, the earth would be fine. I'm not holding my breath for any rational actions however!! : /
