So what’s happened to this site since the election?
I was here before the election and it was like it’s usual purple ghost town, US question filled, UK alienating self. Now after the election it’s full of UK questions again?
4 AnswersCurrent Events6 years agoDid you know that every UK government since 1971 has presided over record numbers of employed persons?
The Tories like to make great play that they have record numbers of employed persons but it looks like it isn’t down to their economic genius, it’s population growth that causes it.

3 AnswersOther - Politics & Government6 years agoHow will U2 fans vote if Nicola Sturgeon forces Ed Miliband to adopt her policy of ‘real change for U2’?
I must admit that I was startled when like a bolt out of the blue, Nicola Sturgeon promised to deliver real change for U2 in her closing statement in last night’s BBC opposition leader’s debate? Again like all the politicians today, she doesn’t go into any of the detail of her policy. Would she be adding members, replacing or cutting them? Where would she make the cuts? Which member or members would she cut? I could maybe understand maybe if she got rid of Adam Clayton the bass player as no-one has ever seemed to like him but maybe she plans to get rid of Larry Mullan, Bono or maybe even The Edge. I had a look at the SNP’s manifesto and I couldn’t see any mention of it at all. Did the debate get to her and she came up with an off the cuff policy to grab some headlines in tomorrow’s papers to put Ed Miliband under pressure? What do non-Scottish U2 fans think of it and how will you know which way to vote if you don’t know the exact policy detail? As far as I know there has been no reaction yet from the Labour Party. I’ve pasted her words below.
“ A big team of SNP MPs can force the pace of progressive change. We offer an alternative, real investment in the NHS, in housing and childcare and jobs. To voters in Scotland I ask you to vote SNP to make Scotland’s voice heard and to voters elsewhere, I pledge that ours will be a voice to deliver real change for U2.”

4 AnswersCurrent Events6 years agoSo, did you also think that Man Utd were useless today?
I expect United to beat a lesser team like Chelsea. That’s what I expect. Anything less than that is a football failure. I think we should have stuck with David Moyes. A couple of years after Fergie and we would have been flying. If it wasn’t for a load of ignorant teenagers who know little about the mechanics of United on Twitter and Facebook we’d still have Moyes. I feel they’ve destroyed my club. Maybe I’ll feel different at the end of the season but I doubt it. The only mistake Moyes made, was not to be ruthless at United and get rid of Van Persie and Giggs in January for causing so much dressing room unrest at the beginning of last season. A quarter of the way through the season with Van Gaal and so far we’ve one less point than last season and we’ve scored one more goal. Have a look at the video below. This is the standard I judge United by. This is how I remember them.
