I made a slight mistake - the second link down is a search for the massacre of 2,000 people in Nigeria on Sky 'News', not a search on BBC 'News'.

The world ignores a lot of things and realistically if the networks held debates with the population of the world your TV would still be showing a test pattern. If you want to make changes get off yahoo and do something about it. The people who make the decisions are not on Yahoo Answers.

Having been to Nigeria, it's because no one really cares too much about what goes on in Nigeria (how's #BringBackOurGirls doing these days). And there's video of what happened in Paris, so the TV can run that video on a loop.
