Have you stopped using Yahoo Current Events until they bring back Yahoo green?
Lol. Corny, I blame ‘smart phone’ users for the dumbing down of the internet. I won't use a ‘smart phone’. I equate it to everyone having sports cars ( desktops and laptops) and then they've taken away all the roads for them ( normal internet websites ) and degraded them with dirt tracks full of pot holes so that everyone can have somewhere to drive their shiny new tractors ( smart phones ). PS Smart phone processors are technologically way below desktops and laptop processors in case you don't know. They're dumbing down the internet to make it fit for smart phones and I'm not at all happy about it. The user mapping, user profiling, user selling, etc, etc of smart phones is also a real turn off for me. I still value what little privacy I’ve got left. I don’t want GCHQ profiling my every thought, my every movement, my every time I go to the toilet, my every meal, my every shop, the when, where and why I visit my friends, my leisure time, my every move of my life, tha

Well hello there to you! Sorry was on a mobile so did not realise it was one of your questions. Long time no see, how are you doing??!
I did have a break over the summer for a couple of months and guess what? The site just carried on without me! I mean seriously! On it went, yahoo just simply did not care of I was here or not. Those who I annoy (the many) were happy and those who like me (the very few) had to trudge along. So back I came to annoy the Right whingers more then ever, to infuriate folk more then any one woman should. To be accused of being a multi account holding Sargent in Cornwall ( classic email!) and to be a general pain in the @rse!
So yes, I went, yahoo did not change back to green, I came back and yahoo is still not green. But we are missing some fab people, yourself being one! So here's hoping to see you back soon!
And if you want to put something in Current Events, just post the question, click edit category, click "all", go to News and Events then to Current Events. Really hoping to see you back soon!!
Ps if you don't mind lll pit this into CE for you!

... of my life, thank you very much. I just really believe that in a so-called ‘free’ society that it’s really none of their business. A ‘smart phone’ is also an excellent tool to let all the local burglars know where you work and when would be the most appropriate time for them to burgle you ( see the first link below ).

PS I was on such a good rant there that I appear to have forgotten my manners. How are you too? I miss all my Yahoo friends.
Thanks Yahoo for that.
Yahoo Green will return. Yahoo’s ever more desperate changes to claw back users show that this will be the likely outcome. It may take a few months or years but it will return. Keep boycotting it until they do would be my advice. Yahoo can’t afford to keep losing users and therefore advertisers at the rate they are.

Well obviously not ! Us dedicated users still continue despite often hassle and flame-baiting questions from members who should know better, hint hint. Keep clear of them is my new policy ! The askers name suggests he is concerned at the changes.
I must admit the very latest changes have thrown me a lot.but we will carry on. What you call green will never come back. I missed the spellcheck and the loss of voting was a personal tragedy for me as I got many b/a when they didnt know who they were voting for. They have dried up now.
we have lost our list of our blocked members.

I do not like the new format one little bit. It is all questions relevant to people in the US and you have to trawl through them all to find something that doesn't involve the US. Loads f regulars seem to have disappeared overnight tbh with you and I will very soon unless they change the format!
