Why won't my car start?
My boyfriend has a peugeot 206 2005 (second hand from a dealer).
Recently, we tried to start the car and it just wouldn't start.
The engine made a splutter sound but now it's got nothing. We took the battery out and charged it but that doesn't seem to have made a difference.
Furthermore, the passenger footwell is absolutely soaked for some reason!
We drove the car on a two 45 minuet trips and two smaller 10-15 minuet trips and it seemed fine but now suddenly won't do anything.
Advice please!
The garage on the phone suggested a new battery.
The engine doesn't really make a whir noise, just a low clicky grumble.
There is about £15 of petrol in it.
The water in the passenger side smells very sweet.
Apologies, I have mild dyslexia and autocorrect on my ipad.

Is that better for you!? ....
Minuet is a French social dance...

Water in passenger side may well be the key to all of the problems. The sweet small is antyifreeze showing that this is engine coolant and the location suggests it is from a blown heater matrix.
There woill be no simple fix for this. By the sound of it the coolant has got to some of the electrics/electronics too.
Needs a garage.

Take it to a garage, you've put too little detail to even begin answering the question.
Is the engine turning over? (does it go whirr, whirr, whirr) when you try and start it?
Is there a click and nothing else?
Have you remembered to put petrol/diesel in it?(these are not interchangeable, one or the other)
Water in the passenger well isn't anything but a bad seal, though you could have a fuse box there and fried electrics.
