What happens to kids that run away from home and live on the streets?
I have recently read a book (can't remember the name) about kids who run away from home and try to survive on the streets. I'd like to learn more about that. Any ideas?

True runaway kids that are on the street do tend to be drug addicts and prostitutes trust me I know because I was a runaway I never went back home but it's ruff out there on your own I was a prostitute I did drugs but what I did I did to survive it's not easy being out there but sadly it's all I know anymore.

the sad truth is that they probably end up as drug addicts and prostitutes, probably raped and beaten up and abused a lot. and eventually die a sad lonely death. A ridiculous amount of runaway kids go missing every year and no one really ever knows what happens to them, but in general..that's what happens. If you want to do some survival thing it's probably best to organise something with a group - you could raise money for charity sleeping it rough for a few nights. After 1 night you'll be sick of it.
