Florence is my grandmothers name! 10/10 - its so timeless and feminine

Edith - 9/10 - this ones timeless too but I'm not as in love with it as other names

Beatrix - 6/10 - I like this for other people's kids. It has a bit of an old quirky feel to me but I just can;t imagine calling my future child Beatrix. i'm certainly not repulsed by the name though

Note: I love Old-fashioned names! I think they are a great way to make a kid stand out without screaming for attention. I volunteer with 8 year olds and met a kid named "Danger" today. I'm torn between loving it and thinking its totally kick *ss and wondering what on earth this kid's parents were thinking.

Beatrix sounds strange, Edith is cute and Florence is timeless.

It's a tough decision between Edith and Florence but I'll say Florence :)

Florence! This is one of the classier place names, and it feels vintage rather than dated. I also love the nickname Ren/Wren.

Edith feels very dated to me, and I don't feel that it's quite come back into fashion as a vintage name yet. I really can't imagine this on a child today.

I like Beatrix, but the ending is quite harsh sounding. I much prefer the clear, crisp sound of Beatrice.

Beatrix :) Though I love Florence with the nickname Flo, as well.

Beatrix, definitely! I think it's an elegant name, but at the same time it has some style to it.

Florence is a good name as well, though.

I must admit, I've never been especially fond of the name Edith.
