What is the consonant equivalent of a dipthong?

When you string together two vowels like "ea" or "ie," it's called a dipthong. What is the term for when you string together two or more consonants? That's all that's being asked here. Any help you can offer is appreciated.

A "consonant cluster" is what you are looking for.

Do be aware that our letters do a fairly poor job of representing sounds. Sometimes it takes two or more letters to get one sound right. 'Sh' and 'ng' are good examples. So digraphs (two letters) are different from diphthongs (two sounds).
