Can I get a points type distributor for a 1.6 litre Suzuki car motor?
I have installed a 1989 1.6 Suzuki motor in my air boat and I have had some trouble with it. We had to bypass the computer and engineer a carburetor mount for it and that part works very well. I do however have recurring problems with the distributor; I would like to find one that uses the old style breaker points instead of the electronic ignition.
I can't find one online but was wondering if the distributor from the 1.3 liter might work as it is a little older and may have breaker points. Thanks Glenn

Get an off the shelf electronic ignition that way you won't need to rely on the original computer or fouled points.
