Why should we follow your version/translation/interpretation of your holy books because YOU chose to emotionally invest in them? No biblical quotes please, unless to support your point.

Each and everyone has the right to do what they want. All things are permitted. All things are paid back in kind whether you are believer or not.
That is the simple teaching.
(1 Corinthians 6:12) All things are lawful for me; but not all things are advantageous. All things are lawful for me; but I will not let myself be brought under authority by anything.
The unbeliever will have all his actions returned with interest as shall the believer. Thus the problem you have to tackle is do you want to live or to die?
We are all in the same boat, all of us are growing older by the day, though the young think their 'old age' is far off - they are truly very wrong. Life is very short, decades run by like quick water in a waterfall.
What we are asked to do is to live a humane moral life; we are only really asked to do what makes life worth living. That some think this can be done without faith, without the knowledge of scripture leads to eternal death. As scripture repeats endlessly, righteousness saves, obedience brings victory.

You should not have to comply .
Jesus said His government was not of this world.
God doesn't expressly forbid people from voting or even running for office but it does seem impossible to do so and remain a person of integrity.

You don't have to comply, nobody is forcing you
Plenty of people try and persuade you I'm sure, but it's optional
EDIT: Homosexuality is legal in my country as is gay marriage, if you want to marry a dude, suit yourself it's no skin off my nose

In their mind, religion is not subjective experience, but objective truth from god.

You are here freely questioning others' faith. What basis do you have for saying, "non-believers have to comply"?

Are you suggesting freedom? Religion isn't about people doing what they want.
