A question for Dr. Who fans out there?
So I know very little about Dr. Who, I saw one episode once, and anyway I have a friend who is obsessed with the program, and I'm trying to find a good 18th birthday present for her..
So do any fans know what the ideal Dr. Who gift would be? I don't really want to spend more than $40 and I have no idea what would count as a really good Dr. Who-related present.
I did find this one present however, it's called a "Doctor Who Dalek Heat Changing Coffee Mug". I'm not really sure what a Dalek is but I assume it's something Dr. Who fans really like? And the mug changes colour from blue to yellow when it warms up, which I assume is the colour of Daleks.
Anyway, if you have any ideas of what I could get my friend for her birthday it would be greatly appreciated, thanks!

Yea get that mug, that sounds cool! Also a sonic screwdriver replica would be a good gift.

The Daleks are one of the Doctor's enemies. I think you'll find female fans are more obsessed with the Doctor himself than the monsters. There is some great Doctor Who jewellery out there with Tardis (blue box), and other Time Lord imagery on them. Personally I'd love a Tardis key pendant if I could get one. The key is something only the Doctor or a Companion would have.
