Do you know of anywhere that custom makes shoes or shoe acessories?
I found a pair of boots that I really want, but I wear braces on my feet and they don't fit over the braces. Does anyone know of a place where I could mail or take the boots to get a zipper put on them so they actually go on? Any comments or suggestions help. Thanks! :)

Depending on the structure of the boot, a good cobbler could add a zipper. Be sure to show him/her the boot to make sure it can be done.
Some cobblers are also willing to make custom boots for you (which sounds like it would be best to have done). This process would involve measuring your feet (while wearing the braces). A shoe would then be constructed around your measurements and a zipper could be added from there.
Both of these processes are going to be really expensive (adding a zipper is one of the most expensive things you can have done).
Research cobblers in your area and/or custom boots.
