Car audio problems. Music won't play!?

So my car was down for a month after I was in a accident and I didn't start the car at all so naturally the battery died. Since then my stereo cannot play music. I have a lot of aftermarket equipment including subs and those work fine but the music will not play even though it shows that it is on my deck which is a alpine CDA 9885 and VOCAL tweets and speakers. I have 1 alpine amp to power my speakers and 1 vocal amp for my subs as well as a equalizer to manage all that stuff.

Check for your grounded wire connection. A black wire screwed to the metal of your car. I found my coming from the amp to the metal in my trunk where the back seats go forward sure enough that was my problem. Was having same issue as you. Good luck.
