    BOTH

BEING COLOD YOU WILL GET HYPOTHERMIA- LOSS OF HEAT AND YOU COULD FREEZE IF YOU DO NOT GET WARM OR FROST BITTEN IF YOU CANNOT GET THE BLOOD CIRCULATING.

HEAT STROKE AND DEHYDRATIOJN- IF YOU DO NOT HAVE ENOUGH WATER OR BECOME OVER HEATED.

YOU CAN GET OUT OF THE SUN OR TO COOL PLACE MORE EASILY .-DEPENDING UPON THE LOC

The worse for me is being cold and can't get warm, I rather be hot (I can find a way to keep cool if I have to).

I also hate the winter snow and ice!

I get very nervous just being the passenger in the car, I am holding on for dear life!

In Winter I can still get warm by exercising, even though I have stocking and glove peripheral neuropathy, I just try and ignore the pain and try not to look at the many colours of of my hands and feet for too long.

If it is hot in Summer I am unable to cool down. We've had hot since September already this year (the beginning of Spring) and I can not cool down after driving in my car (with a faulty air conditioner) even with an ice pack at my front and back and on my lap and a fan on me. Unable to do anything - too weak. I am a slim otherwise fit 48 year old who has a neuro condition. Don't want to go into Rhabdomyolysis just yet, but came close to it about 10 days ago. Not fun. Makes for awful smelling wee too.

    Being hot.

I have developed a seasonal allergy (as yet unidentified) which results in infections in my sinuses, tonsils and mouth. There are too many other symptoms to list but the end result is that I suffer hot flushes but even worse I feel so hot, all over, ALL the time. A dry heat that makes it impossible to have a duvet, or any covering on in bed and I lie there with the window open on the coldest night. It makes me suicidal.

That happens every year from November to May. I have always loved winter with snow and frost but now I dread it because of the Heat it brings me.

Neither is a very promising proposition. However with cold, there is always the possibilty to put on another layering of clothing or avoiding wearing cotton on the layer closest to the skin. With too much heat, you can only get all of your clothing off. I would guess too much heat or too hot would be much worse. Hell never freezes over.

I've heard it's worse in the cold, people pass faster if they're stuck in the cold.

I live in a semi-tropical climate and I can say that although it's warm here (and 95+ in summer) if all of a sudden the cold hits then people go. Either way though the body stresses out and that's not good. And the extremes are bad for us.

If the temperature isn't between 70 and 80 degrees I'm uncomfortable and will complain either way. I've lived in Ohio and I've lived in Florida. I'll take a long hot, summer over a long, cold winter any day.

    Cold is much worse.

I worked for almost 50 years in cold country. The cold got worse each year. I retired to the Southern California desert. I'll NEVER complain about the heat.

They keep telling me that it's better to be cold because we can always put on another layer. I'm never convinced that one is better than the other. In my state we have to endure the 100 degree-plus humidity then the polar opposite over half the year. They're both awful as far as I'm concerned. I'm a Spring and Fall kind of person.

Well today, we had an absolutely huge storm; and boy, it was soooo cold! Living in Southern California I have become acclimatized to the great weather in the summer and the pretty good weather most of the winter months; but today -- I WAS FREEZING! Maybe it's my age creeping up on me!

So my answer is the cold is harder to deal with.
