srv rocks, but if you want to see the top potential of where electric guitar can go, you have to eventually come around to listening to Yngwie Malmsteen. Watch a show with him and then listen to any guitar player on the radio and you'll just be, like, yeah...so? I watched him single handedly back Joe Satriani and Steve Vai into a corner during a final jam duel at G3 a few years ago. Just incredible.

Yes. I would put him in my top 10 guitarists all time. He was self taught which I find amazing. Best known song is probably "Pride and Joy". One of the best.
