What happens if a seller closes their paypal account and never shis my item?
I just had a thought, but what would to happen if I buy something from someone via Paypal, for "goods", and they transfer the money to their bank account, never send the item, and then close their paypal account? What would that mean to me? By the way this is all metaphorically speaking, this hasn't happened to me yet.

Well then you could make a complaint and they would have to pay you the money as Paypal would have the details of where the person lives i guess.
Ebay or wherever you buy from may refund the money if you make a case to them.

The word is "hypothetically" speaking, not "metaphorically". And if a seller does not ship item after you have paid, you will open a case and get your money refunded from Ebay and they will not allow that seller to trade on Ebay.
