Does a name change mean you lose inheritance rights?
I am considering changing my name by deed poll. I am named in my parents' wills. Does changing my name in this way mean I will no longer be able to inherit?

No as long as you have the official court paperwork showing the name change then you are still entitled
You have a birth certificate or adoption record you have parental rights and if all else fails a simple DNA test will always suffice
FYI legal spouses have their name changed all the time and sometimes the wills are never updated so of course

No. You are still you. Be sure to keep the legal name change documents readily available for more than just inheritance purposes.
