  • Are there any Servite Monasteries in the USA?

This question was asked by someone minutes ago and then deleted by YA. I didn't notice who the asker was.

There is nothing inappropriate about the question, so I'm not sure why YA deleted it, but if the asker goes to http://www.servidimaria.net/sitoosm/en/index.htm the answer will be found.

If anyone has further data they wish to add in answers that's fine but unnecessary because the website will provide the complete answer.

  • When people ask a question do they want a correct answer or just confirmation of already assumed knowledge?

It seems that many people who ask questions about Spirituality and Religion already have an answer and they are just looking for others to confirm what they already think or believe, rather than seek out and research facts.

I find it interesting to look at past resolved questions to see what the "correct" answer was. Its amazing how many absolutely wrong and nonfactual answers are selected. There are many very good and factual answers that get passed up.

So whats the point of this forum? Answers or confirmation?

  • Yahoo! Account problem?

Is anybody getting emails from Yahoo! that have a subject heading:

Re: Y! & YAHOO ACCOUNT USER, WE HAVE A PROBLEM WITH YOUR ACCOUNT

I have received 2 of them and I don't have a problem with my access to Yahoo! But this email insists that I give my account information and the email always has pop ups when I open it.

Is this a dirty SPAM trick by someone or is Yahoo! really trying to tell me something but is too stupid to know that my account works just fine?

If someone works for Yahoo! and reads this I would appreciate it if you would investigate this because if I reply to the email it has a persons email address rather than Yahoo! customer service.

Thanks for any help. I hate SPAM.

  • What do ladies think about men having beards?

The young lady who cuts my hair had an interesting discussion with me today about what she and her girlfriends liked and disliked about beards. It was fascinating so I thought I would see what the ladies on Yahoo thought about the subject.

I grow one periodically because I tire of shaving every day and right now I'm back to a very full beard and plan to shave it off again tonight. My stylist was surprised that I don't get worked up about the decision. But like I told her, my beard is attached to me, I'm not attached to it.

So what do you think about beards?

  • Why do I have to do character matching when I send emails to SPAMMERS but they don't have to when emailing me?

I like to send replies to SPAMMERS and even give them a bunch of my other SPAM that I have received but its a pain because I also have to fill out one of those stupid character matching things in order to send. If the SPAMMERS had to go through that in order to send me junk mail it would slow them down. So why do I have to go through that and they don't?
