I'm from NYC and I'm in love with country music and just Southern life in general.?

If I were to move to the South ( like Arkansas/Tennessee) would people accept me or just view me as a "dirty yankee?" etc.

Plus bq- what are some very conservative areas in the [deep] South?

    You'll need to work on losing the Yankee accent.

    Mississippi and Alabama would be the ultimate place you would get called a Yankie. Go to either of those places for what you want. Louisiana is southern to but a whole other story.
