Vasyl Lomachenko vs Guillermo Rigondeaux?

Right now, at 126, who do you think would win this fight?

Since Rigo has more professional experience, we'll say the fight is at featherweight, Lomachenko's division.

Apart from the Americans, Russians have been Cuban boxers' worst rivals in the amateurs/Olympics from way back. Since both are former amateur standouts who generally still fight in that manner even in the pros with accent on power, finesse and defense, I think it will be a highly-competitive, closely fought contest despite Rigo's edge in experience in the pros and fighting bigger foes. Vasyl's power volume punching on the attack and his adeptness in setting that up by picking his shots and spots in skirmishes will serve him in good stead against Rigo. The key for victory for Vasyl would be his success in unsettling Rigo. Otherwise, Rigo boxes and counterpunches his way to a clear win.

Vasyl needs time to develop. He only has 1 pro fight and it was a title fight which he won by ko. With that said; i've seen many olympiads start off too fast and get destroyed.

If Vasyl lowers the bar in competition, slowly brings it up and stays active, in 3 years he will likely be unbeatable in the division.

Rigondeaux has extreme experience but Vasyl's experience is in a level on its own. He is arguably the most decorated boxing Olympiad in history

Guillermo rigondeaux will win because he is the more experienced fighter. He will counter Lomachenko to win a 12 round decision.

I don't think Rigondeaux is beatable by anyone below light middleweight. I will get flamed for that but the guy is far too quick and will have learned from the Nonito knock down. It might not be exciting but he is a nearly perfect boxer.
