Serious smuging on dual pane windows?

I have beautiful, dual paned PELLA windows...I have been using what was recommended, Sprayway Glass Cleaner (non-ammonia, of course...) and I STILL am experiencing smudging (-and I've stopped using papertowels using micro-fiber clean cloths) I remember the days of using newspaper, but of course, due to the ammonia, that's out too. IS THERE any product, way to get them truly clean? Or am I using wrong type of cloth?

Professional window cleaners don't use vinegar because it puts a film on the glass which is difficult to remove later. Use lukewarm water with a small amount of dish detergent in it. Wash the window with a clean J-Cloth or a lint-free rag. Dry with a CHAMOIS cloth. It can be purchased in Walmart or any large grocery store. It's also good for cleaning your car, countertops, mirrors, etc.

Newspaper is not printed with real ink anymore - it's a veg. dye or something similar. No good for wiping windows, and you'll end up with black hands and ruined clothes. Put it in the recycle bin.

Chamois 'cloth' can also be washed with your laundry. It used to be made from chamois leather, but it's a manufactured product now.

Source(s): personal experience. I just bought a new chamois.

I use unprinted newspaper. I get it at the local self storage. It is sold as packing paper. It removes streaks, etc. from glass, doesn't leave lint, and is cheaper than paper towels. Micro fiber towels are great for cleaning things like interiors of cars, dusting, etc. but I have never really liked them for cleaning glass.

Vinegar. What is the problem with ammonia? Also you may want to try Bio Green Clean, expensive but you can dilute it a lot for window cleaning.

Vinegar and laundry detergent. Mix together. Than take 1 wet cloth and 1 dry cloth. Use the wet cloth to apply the mix onto the windows, scrub, than take the dry cloth and wipe it away. May need two dry cloths, but depends on how much you apply the mix on your windows.. Hope it helps!

Your opinion was deeply unappreciated, you with your bad attitude and smart mouth. I guess someone's mama didn't teach them to not open their mouth if what they're going to say is not nice and UNPRODUCTIVE. My life isn't perfect, neither is yours. I'm glad that I could waste your time by having you write me some dumb answer that went unused, and then allow you to think that you were better for me during the few minutes that you typed out your answer, although you just looked extremely ignorant and rude. I love people like you, because you just made me LAUGH. HA HA. What a joke!!! God will judge.
