How do I keep it halal living in the West?

So I'm a 16 Pakistani American who's been born and raised in the US. I like to think of myself as a practicing Muslim because I pray, fast in ramadan, don't drink alcohol etc. But being in high school it's difficult for me not to fall into the dating and premarital sex culture of normal Americans. I see my friends taking girlfriends and enjoying themselves with them, but I so far haven't had one and am trying not to, but there is SO MUCH pressure. Practically every show on television and in movies the concept on "free sex" is shown, but Islam doesn't allow it. I know plenty of attractive girls literally who always wear literally 8 inch shorts and tight shirts in my school who I've been told to by my friends to ask out, but I always manage to say no. And it's just so agonizing to go through the same struggles everyday when I see everyone around me doing things that I "shouldn't" do. I even know some muslim guys my age who have secret girlfriends in school but dont' tell their parents.

    Hello Paki American.

I have to say that I admire you for remaining faithful to your beliefs. It must be very difficult for you to stay steadfast in the face of all the temptations around you to follow the crowd. If you continue to follow the Muslim path then Allah will reward you. I wish you well. Insha'Allah.

Why are you not a Christian or a Hindu? I hope someday you examine your own religion using the same healthy skepticism you use with other religions. Islam is a man-made religion just like the other 2,000+ religions out there.

Narrated Abu Dhar: The Prophet asked me at sunset, "Do you know where the sun goes (at the time of sunset)?" I replied, "Allah and His Apostle know better." He said, "It goes (i.e. travels) till it prostrates Itself underneath the Throne and takes the permission to rise again, and it is permitted

So you tell your friends that your religion doesn't allow you to "fraternize" openly with girls and you want to keep it that way.

Don't let them pressure you into doing anything you consider wrong in your own beliefs.
