Poll: Straights: When did you decide to be straight rather than gay or bi?
Obviously, you made the conscious choice to be straight as many people have told me I made a choice to be gay so it must be the same for you.

This is a very good question...
I was curious at one point because I witnessed certain behaviours at school ...but...
I made the conscious decision, not to experiment probably because of a Christian upbringing.
I,personally think that some ppl. are born a certain way ( bi/gay/straight) while others may choose to experiment in an alternative lifestyle.
No one has the right to judge you.
Edit- Happy holidays to you...:)

Well I'm a teen, and when I hit puberty, I eventually realized that I like boys. I did think if I was lesbian or bi, but then I decided I wasn't even remotely attracted to the same sex lol. So I guess I made my conscious choice around my mid teens.

You lean one way or the other or you can lean both ways or not at all and be non-intimate. There's really no such thing as 'normal' any more.
we humans have this way of labelling stuff all the time. The minute you label this as gay or that as straight you start to feel pressure to BE that way etc. Just run with what is. If it's not hurting others then go for it. Even if it hurts people around you to 'see you that way' then tell them kindly that you're honouring yourself and your truth and you'd rather do that than breed resentful and carcinogenic cells in your body by not being authentic.

Not all "straight" people think like this....
Obviously, we didn't "choose" our sexuality, no one chooses their sexuality. But, even if, hypothetically, sexuality was a choice...if someone had a problem with it, that's *their* problem, it wouldn't be mine.
Whatever is between consenting adults and is not harming anyone, is no body's business but theirs and they're more than entitled to it.

When I hit puberty and became attracted girls. I don't think it's much of a choice you are attracted to whatever sex the chemicals in your brain tell you to be attracted to.

I identify as a 'straight' asexual, and I didn't choose to be that way at all. Try not lumping everyone together based on their sexuality, kay?

Maybe you should consider putting serious answers on people's questions rather than saying " NO." and displaying your attitude. Word of advice, next time just keep your atrocious, dirty mouth shut.
