Laptop is booting slow?
I have a labtop that is about 3 years old and in good overall condition. I'm diligent about running anti-sypware and anti-virus programs on a regular basis to keep everything at peak performance, but for some reason it just takes a long time to boot up. I'm at a loss here. Can someone suggest why this may be? Thanks...

I recomend CCleaner. This will repair your regristry in the computer and clean up the **** left behind from other programs. A computer will not always be fast. Programs advance over the years taking up more RAM. Upgrading your RAM will help. Download and run ccleaner from the link below.

Why don't you try defragmenting your hard drive?
In windows, right-click on the drive. select properties and under tools select defragment.
Also, your problem may be due to registry errors that may be piling up.
