How do you feel about players calling out former players?

Scottie Upshall recently called out Bryzgalov, trashed him in the interview, and called HIM 'unprofessional' while playing together in Phoenix. Regardless of how you feel about Bryzgalov as a goalie, am I the only one that finds this kind of stuff bothersome? Have some class Upshall......Even if he's just playing 'mind games' himself do you feel like players nowadays have a lack of respect for Eachother? I just feel like what was Scottie trying o prove with these statements......because to me he proved he's a bitter, classless 'grinder'.

We had something like this when Matt Bradley called out some

of his ex-team mates after leaving the Capitals.

    Classless, IMO.

Move on from bad situations and make things better when you

    get there...

I don't think it is any worse than days past.....just that we live in an era of media, technology and the internet where so much information is available.

I am not a fan of it whatsoever....if you have a beef or a problem with someone then deal with him yourself instead of using the media as a pawn....seems rather cowardly I have always thought.

At the end of the day, they are co-workers...union brothers and if you say something that could lead to another player not getting market value then it's not very ethical.

Now, with all of that said, I also believe in a "win at all costs" attitude so if it was part of your "game plan" to take you off of your game or get a decided edge then I do not have a huge problem with it. Examples of this would be the media jabs between Roy and Roenick for instance...or Scotty Bowman was a master at getting under the other team's skin during the playoffs with some questionable antics to gain an edge.

I agree, and I actually was going to bring up the Matt Bradley comments about Semin before I saw Stevie's answer(props to Stevie).

No matter how true any of these statements are they are petty, classless, and a waste of time.

Also, I was surprised to learn that Scottie Upshall is still in the NHL after reading this question. Hasn't done anything noteworthy on the ice in his whole career soo...

Nope, if anything I applaud Upshall for trashing BryzGOALov.
