Can the Toronto Maple Leafs not win for losing?
6 AnswersHockey5 years agoCRA Line 435 and Line 437?
If Line 435 (Total Payable) is 11,000$ and Line 437 (Total income tax deducted) is 20,000$ and the balance before penalty and interest is -9,000$ then does that mean there is a 9,000$ refund or 9,000$ is payable?
1 AnswerCanada7 years agoWhat salary cap parity? (NHL)?
The last 5 years, the cup winners have been Chicago (twice), LA, Pittsburgh and Boston.
Will you be at least mildly surprised if one of these four teams don't hoist it this year?
1 AnswerHockey7 years agoWill you be catching any hockey games over Christmas? (NHL)?
I will be catching 5 games. 4 in Denver and 1 in Chicago. Pretty excited. Also going to spend a night in Vail, Colorado. Looks amazing.
BQ1- Has your favourite team played an outdoor game yet?
BQ2- Is the bleached blonde look back in? https://twitter.com/KSE_Charities
10 AnswersHockey7 years agoDo you think Roger's has a hidden agenda? (NHL)?
They paid ALOT of money for that TV contract with the NHL and now have a monopoly on the games going forward. Most analysts seem to think this is good for viewing fans because they will get a wide selection of games BUT do you think that Roger's paid all that money with a hidden agenda?
By that, I mean, could you see them making NHL games pay-per-view? Like make it $5 to see whatever game you want to see? Perhaps this isn't even logical for some reason I am missing....is it a possibility that this is what we are heading toward?
7 AnswersHockey7 years agoD Day for Shawn Thornton? (NHL)?
How many games will he get?
My guess is 15 games
5 AnswersHockey7 years agoDavid Clarkson suspended again? (NHL)?
He has as many suspensions as he does goals....12 games of suspension, 23 games played, 2 goals, -4, 5.25 Million cap hit
Hey, atleast there are only another almost 7 years left in his contract....and he will turn 30 before season's end so he is entering his prime.
BQ- My English teachers always taught me that atleast was one word (two words is a variation) but everywhere I have researched shows it is two words...at least. Was anyone else ever taught that it is one word or did I dream this up?
7 AnswersHockey7 years agoCan you think of a long term NHL contract?
That in the long run, truly worked out for the team?
7 AnswersHockey7 years agoFlyers vs. The Caps rematches?
The Flyers and Caps are about to have a home and home series on Sunday and Tuesday.
Do you expect any shenanigans or fall out from their previous meeting?
Do you think Emery will start one of the games?
1 AnswerHockey7 years agoHow spot on is Ron MacLean's analysis of Ovechkin?
He is less than impressed and calls Ovechkin a "speciality act."
3 AnswersHockey7 years agoWho are the top 5 goalies in the NHL?
I think it will be interesting to see how different everyone's lists are.
16 AnswersHockey7 years agoWhatever happened to Dany Heatley? (NHL)?
Not Heatley himself but his play. I mean, this is Canada's all time leading scorer....and as soon as he hit 30, he has just gone downhill.
11 points through 32 games!
7 AnswersHockey8 years agoDrouin hit from behind on the weekend and concussed? (NHL)?

No suspension. Do you agree with the QMJHL decision?
Potentially bad news for Team Canada....a little irony in there as well as Erne (the offender) will suit up for Team Canada and is a TB teammate.
BQ- Rob Ford or Marion Barry....who would you most want running your city?
5 AnswersHockey8 years agoNeal given a 5 game suspension? (NHL)?
Agree or disagree?
Check your homerism at the door!
7 AnswersHockey8 years agoHow many games will Princess Dion get for his hit from behind? (NHL)?

Sickens me to link anything "Puck Daddy" but it was the most convenient.
6 AnswersHockey8 years agoCan you recall a team? (NHL)?
Having such a run of giving up 50 shots in a game ? I haven't looked at the numbers but it seems the Leafs give up 49 or 50 shots in most games lately. It seems every game that an opponent sets their season high in shots against them.
I cannot recall a run of such proportions. Can anyone?
6 AnswersHockey8 years agoWhy are people so concerned about a team that may lose money? (NHL)?
It is like you take it personally and it is coming out of your own pocket. Perhaps you would be happier if there were only 6 NHL teams and supply and demand made ticket prices 200$ a pop?
Hockey wasn't an instant success in many locales....it took awhile for LA to be legit ;)
1 AnswerHockey8 years agoIs Joffrey Lupul a candidate for the most fragile player in the NHL?
Who is the most fragile player?
Who would you rather have, Lupul or Beauchemin?
3 AnswersHockey8 years agoHow many of you would have Phanuef, Bieksa or Spezza on Team Canada?
What is the likelihood that any of these players would make it?
Do you think that someone who would predict these players to make it should be institutionalized? Lacks hockey knowledge? Just plain out to lunch?
3 AnswersHockey8 years agoDid Jonas Gustavsson make the save of the decade?
Very similar to a save made by Drew MacIntyre last year in the AHL.
BQ- Why do so many Maple Leafs players seem to be decent before going to Toronto and then stink or stink in Toronto and go elsewhere and excel?
This dates back to forvever...Larry Murphy comes to mind. Beauchemin. Steen anyone? Toskala. How about JS Giguere?
