My wife and I always give each other a kiss, a hug, and tell each other "I love you" without fail.

So many time you hear about the couple that rush out without even giving each other a hug,

and one of them gets killed. The survivor, has the rest of their life to remember what

they neglected to do to express their affection.

Don't think I've ever left without at the very least calling "have a good day, see you later". But usually a kiss. He's the same - doubles back in to kiss me if he forgets <3

Some days he leaves before 5am for work, and I'm sometimes still sleeping - but I'm still aware of him stroking my hair, kissing my cheek and telling me he loves me before he goes.

It all depends upon the equation between the partners.

ALWAYS kiss and possibly hug as one of us is leaving. It will always be that way for us.
