What are homoromantic and heteroromantic?

I know what they mean, but what are they? Like how homosexuality is a sexuality. What is the group for these called?

"Homoeomantic" and "heteroromantic" both refer to aspects of sexuality, namely, romantic attraction. Many people believe that there are just a few sexualities: e.g. gay, straight, and bisexual. But the two terms above recognise that sexuality is more complex. Some people are romantically attracted to one gender, and sexually attracted to the other, for example. I was talking to a friend just the other day who identifies as "gay" because he only wants to have sex with men, but who can be romantically attracted to either gender. So there is no broader category for these terms. Each refers to an aspect of sexuality.

Those both fall under asexuality. Some asexuals have romantic attractions to one or multiple genders but there is no sexual attraction. A person with a romantic orientation may understand and appreciate the beauty of the body but isn't attracted to the idea of sexual relations. Someone who is homo-romantic likes their own gender romantically and someone who is hetero-romantic likes the opposite gender romantically. There's also bi-romantic, pan-romantic, and a few others. There are also people who are attracted to one gender romantically and another sexually.

    Hopefully this helps :)
