Do women find it awkward if a guy gets an erection while cuddling and making out?
I feel that it's awkward (at least it is for me) when it happens, probably because I'm pretty inexperienced, but I definitely know she has noticed. I know cuddling and making out should never have to lead to sex, but I really don't know if she wants it or not, and I don't know how to lead into it. She initiated making out, and 2 of the 3 times I've hung out with her she's asked me to stay over, but I don't want to be too forward and scare her off or have her turn me down, because then the rest of the night wouldn't feel right.

Also, NEVER turn a girl down who offers you sex. That's the quickest way to get dumped. I learned that the hard way when I was young, and I know a few other guys who'v reported the same thing. When a girl is ready for sex you better be ready or she'll find someone else who is!

Daisy is absolutely right. I also want to emphasize that you do not need to be worrying about this if you're not 100% sure that you are ready for such a big responsibility. The emotions that go along with losing such an important part of yourself are enough to be stressful on an adult, much less a young girl (or teen... not sure how old you are). You'll also have to consider how your friends, teachers and parents would feel if they found out. It can be humiliating to have someone who thinks you are mature and smart find out that you've adventured into something you may not be ready for. I was very young my first time and regret it. It hurt like hell and I was in no way emotionally ready for that kind of relationship. Don't get me wrong, I dated him for three years afterwards, but looking back, I should have waited. I'm very happy now, six years later and with the man I am going to marry, but I would rather have waited for him.

I think it depends on the girl, a girl that has some experience with men should find it normal, as long as you just ignore it and don't make it into a big deal. On the other hand if the girl is not used to cuddling/kissing she may be a little uncomfortable if she doesn't know that it is a uncontrollable and not an advance. If she seems uncomfortable try to use your body laungage to show you are not making unwanted advances or pressuring her.
