Does the military have anything to let aircraft know which vehicles are friendly during combat?
I saw it once in COD 4, where they mark vehicles as friendlies and the aircraft sees a strobing light on the vehicle, marking it as a friendly. Do those exist in real life? Does the military have a device that allows the Air Force to know which vehicles are friendly and which are not?

IR strobes, BFT, EPLRS, DAGRs, IR panels, and just plain old using the radio are all used for that.
